The firm has a heavy transactional practice, focusing on international contracts.  In addition to contracts across borders for the sale of goods, the firm represents lessors and others in transactions involving the sale and leasing of transportation equipment, particularly marine cargo containers, with three major clients engaged in that business.

Jim advises limited liability entities in matters of day-to day operations including employment matters. He also acts as a resource to local attorneys who have matters involving international law and practice.

The firm also advises entrepreneurs and investors in the formation and structuring of large and small business, both domestic and internationally, as well as counseling on international trade questions.
